Bilingual Pre-Litigation Attorney
We are a prominent and growing Personal Injury Law Firm in Newport Beach and are seeking a Pre-Litigation Attorney to join our team! The ideal candidate is self-motivated who thrives in an independent work environment and can handle a significant caseload.
As our Pre-Litigation Attorney, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of attorneys and case managers in the fight to earn the largest wrongful death, TBI, catastrophic injury, and major orthopedic settlements achievable.
Responsibilities:
- Manage personal injury cases from inception through settlement.
- Analyze client cases, including reviewing medical records, police reports, and other evidence.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters, defense attorneys, and third parties to ensure clients receive fair compensation.
- Prepare and draft demand letters, settlement offers, and other legal correspondence.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, updating them on case progress and settlement opportunities.
- Collaborate with experts such as medical professionals, accident reconstructionist, and other specialists to support case development.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and procedural requirements throughout the settlement process.
- Work closely with senior attorneys, assisting with litigation strategy when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in Spanish is required.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and valid CA bar license.
- 2+ years of experience handling personal injury cases, with a focus on settlement negotiations.
- Proven ability to successfully negotiate settlements in personal injury matters.
- Strong understanding of personal injury law, insurance policies, and client advocacy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage a significant caseload.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong client service orientation and a compassionate approach to helping those in need.
